Farewell to PlantationOaks Senior Residence Facility, we have appreciated the hospitality and the kindness shown to our Rotary Club by the staff and management of Plantation Oaks. All the best to all!

New Start, New Attitude, and More Great Things to get done. Welcome to the next phase of the High Springs Rotary Club. Make sure you call your designated “phone buddy” and tell those that have not attended recent meetings that we have missed them and invite them to come to First United Methodist Church. The meeting time is now 6:00pm.

Look around the local communities and invite someone who is interested in the work that Rotary does and introduce them to Service Above Self.

It has been said; Nostalgia isn’t what it used to be.

The 4-Way Test
Of The Things We Think, Say and Do:

First, Is it the TRUTH?

Second, Is it FAIR to all concerned?

Third, Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

Fourth, Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Inner Strength
If you can start the day without caffeine,
If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains,
If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,

If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it,

If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time,

If you can take criticism and blame without resentment
If you can ignore a friend's limited
education and never correct her/him,
If you can resist treating a rich friend better than a poor friend,

If you can conquer tension without medical help,
If you can relax without liquor,
If you can sleep without the aid of drugs,
...Then You Are Probably The Family Dog!
